Your Safety Should NEVER Be Compromised
Your Safety Should NEVER Be Compromised
What is ADAS?
ADAS stands for ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM. In those vehicles that have ADAS, there are Several Sensors and Cameras wrapped around the vehicle that are in constant use whether you have the function turned on or off.
Blind Spot Monitoring is a side view sensor or camera that senses a vehicle or person beside the car while the car is in motion.
Back up Sensors are located in the rear bumper.
Assisted Cruise Control relies on both the Front Facing Camera in your windshield along side a radar or sonar system in the front emblem, grille, or front bumper.
ADAS is one of the most important safety features on most new cars as it is intended to keep the vehicle occupants safe while the vehicle is in operation.
Every Automobile Manufacture REQUIRES the Camera to be calibrated correctly following any repair that would directly interfere with its functionality. In short, If any windshield is replaced and there is a camera attached, YOU MUST CALIBRATE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY. Yes… We just used All CAPS for that statement.
